There are a few points to take note of when you play the 4D game. To begin with, the most obvious information you need is the number that you have chosen. You would have typically chosen a 4 digit number from the range of 0000 to 9999 where you are allowed to pick more than one. The amount that you are placing on is also an important point to take note of as well as whether you are looking to place on the Big forecast, the Small forecast or both. This is where you must remembers which forecasts pays which prize where the easiest way to remember is that Small Forecast are only payable for numbers drawn in the top 3 prizes. That means considering that you are looking to place.
You will first have to pick the number, for instance you pick the number 9999. The next point to take note is the amount you would like to place on and in this example you decided to place or RM5. In terms of Big and Small forecast, you decide to place of RM5 each of the forecasts. So the total you have placed on would be RM10 (RM 5 for Small Forecast and RM5 on Big Forecast). Assuming that the number 9999 is drawn on the day as the Third Prize. That means you are eligible to draw the winnings for both the Big and Small forecasts respectively. In this case, your total winnings are: RM5 (your purchase) x RM500 (Big Forecast) = RM2,500 + RM5 (your purchase) x RM,1000 (Small Forecast) = RM 5,000, bringing your grand total to RM7,500.
If the number 9999 is drawn not in the top three categories but instead in the Consolation category that means you are eligible to win the Big Forecast but is not eligible for any winnings in the Small Forecast. That means your total winnings would be:
RM5 (your purchase) x RM60 (Big forecast) = RM300 and no winnings from the Small forecast and hence your RM5 purchase in this forecast will hence considered to be lost.
