4D or the four digit game is one of the most widely played games in Malaysia. The game of chance is one of the legal games in the country and are run by a few major companies. Companies like Pan Malaysia Pools who runs the game under the Da Ma Cai brand, Sports Toto and Magnum Corporation all provide such games every week while over in Sabah and Sarawak, apart from these three companies, you can also play the game through the local companies like Sabah 4D and the Sandakan 4D respectively.
The game of 4D can be played by any Malaysian who are above 18 years old and is non-Muslim where you have to identify a 4 digit string from 0000 to 9999, giving you a one in 10,000 chance of winning. You can however, pick more than one 4 digit number as the amount you are placing on depends solely on your affordability and preferences. The idea of the game is that for every RM1 that you buy on, you will stand a chance to win the stipulated winnings as provided for by the companies. All the companies basically offer similar prize winnings and hence it is up to you on how much you are buying for and on which company you prefer to buy on.
Minimum tickets are RM1 and you can try your luck in whatever amount you like with which the amount will be multiplied with the winning cash prize. That means if you buy RM1 on a number and it is drawn as the first prize, your total winnings will be RM1x RM2,500 but if you place RM50 on the number, then your total winnings would be RM50 x RM2,500. So it largely depends on you however much you would like to try your luck on which will then determine how much you won when you do.
You will also have to take note of all the days that draws are made every week. The standard draw dates for all the companies are Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. In every draw, which comes in a unique draw ID and will be imprinted in your 4d ticket, there will be 23 numbers drawn in total. These are the First, Second and Third prizes as well as another 10 Special numbers and 10 Consolation numbers with which each level of category here offers different winnings in terms of cash payouts.
