As all the 3 main companies nationwide and the additional 2 in East Malaysia offers same cash payouts in all their categories of drawn numbers, you would only need to understand one prize structure to fully understand how to win these prizes. To begin with, you must understand the concept of the Big and Small Forecasts. This is where you have to fully grasp the concept of different forecasts and payouts. Where this is concerned, if you place a number in the Big forecast and your number is drawn in any of the categories (First, Second, Third, Special and Consolation categories), then you are eligible to win. But if you place in Small forecast, then you will only be eligible to win if your number is drawn in the top three prizes, if your number is drawn in the Special and Consolation categories then you do not win.
All the different companies who hold these draws follow the following prize structure where a minimum RM1 will entitle you to win :
If you place in the Small Forecast
First Prize: RM3,500
Second Prize: RM2,000
Third Prize: RM1,000
For Small forecast, no winnings are awarded for numbers matched in the Special and Consolation prizes
If you place in the Big Forecast:
First Prize : RM2,500
Second Prize: RM1,000
Third Prize: RM500
Special Prize : RM200
Consolation Prize: RM60
